This is the Dark Side of the Moon. This is another painting inspired by the recent Artemis II mission. most people think of the dark side of the moon as being just that… dark. but in reality, it gets the same amount of sun as the earth facing side. We call in dark because we can’t see it. This photo was taken from the Orien shuttle as the earth was setting behind the moon!
